Why moisture matters

Dry wood is better wood.

Our kiln-dried logs are dried to roughly 15 to 20% moisture, so they light easily, give out more heat and burn cleanly; less smoke, less soot and a clearer stove glass. Wet or unseasoned wood wastes its energy boiling off water instead of warming your room.

NOTE: In England, logs sold in volumes under 2m³ must be certified ‘Ready to Burn’ with a moisture content of 20% or less. Ours are ready to burn from the moment they arrive.

We deliver logs Monday to Friday.

Delivery charges, where applicable, are applied automatically at checkout.

When you place your order online you can always leave a cart note with your preferred delivery day.

After placing your order, a member of our team will be in touch to arrange delivery, unless a preferred date stated in the cart notes.
